In order to complete the B.S.Ed. in Mathematics Education
in four years, students need to complete the calculus sequence
(MATH 2200, 2210, 2500) including labs if available) before
the fall of their junior year. In addition, MATH 3000 (Linear
Algebra) and 3200 (Introduction to Higher Mathematics) are pre-requisistes
for EMAT 3500. If MATH 3200 is not available in a junior college,
MATH 2500 (Multivariable Calculus) or MATH 2700 (Differential
Equations) can be substituted for MATH 3200.
Math Education students also need two lab sciences. An overall GPA of 2.5 or higher must be maintained.
Transfer students need a copy of their SAT or ACT scores.
